Jean Bouquot became IFAC President in November 2024. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bouquot joined the IFAC Board in November 2020, nominated by Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC) and Conseil Supérieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables (now Conseil National de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables). He also served as IFAC Deputy President from November 2022 to November 2024.

Mr. Bouquot was the president of CNCC from February 2017 to October 2020. From December 2012 to December 2014, he was vice-chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles (regional statutory auditors professional body) and member of the CNCC. From 2014 until 2016, he was chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles and in February 2015, he was appointed Board Member of the CNCC.

Partner at EY until October 2020, Mr. Bouquot was an audit partner since 1992 and has 40 years of experience, at Arthur Andersen from 1980 to 2002 and then EY. He was also in charge of assurance service line for France/Luxembourg/Maghreb from 2008 to 2015.

Mr. Bouquot attended HEC business school and Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris. He is an expert-comptable and commissaire aux comptes. He also served as a reserve colonel in the French Air Force from 2008 to 2020, including attending the Auditor 59 session at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale.

Dr. Ardan Adiperdana currently serves as Chairman of the National Council of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) for the 2022–2026 term, following his election at the 14th IAI Congress in 2022. He previously held key government positions, including Special Advisor to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (2021–2024), Special Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy for Accountability (2020–2021), and Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) from March 2015 to June 2019.

Within IAI, Dr. Adiperdana has long been an active leader. He served as a Member of the IAI Advisory Council (2018–2022), Member of the National Council for two terms (2010–2018), Chairman of IAI Lampung, and Chairman of IAI Jakarta Chapter.

He built his career at BPKP, where he held a series of senior roles including Head of the Jakarta II Regional Office (2005), Deputy Chairman for State Accountants (2006), and Deputy Chairman for Economic Affairs (2013), before being appointed Head of BPKP (2015–2019). Beyond his public sector service, he has also served as Commissioner in several state-owned enterprises, including President Commissioner of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), Commissioner of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), Commissioner of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (2016–2021), Commissioner of PT PLN (Persero) (2021–2022), and currently Commissioner of PTPN III Holding.

Born in Singkawang on June 16, 1959, Dr. Adiperdana graduated with a Diploma IV from PKN-STAN in 1987 and earned his MBA from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada, in 1992. He later completed his Doctoral degree in Strategic Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia, in 2013. In recognition of his contributions to the accounting profession, he was awarded the Akuntan Award in 2019.

Purbaya earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), followed by a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University, Indiana, United States. He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) through Presidential Decree No. 58/M of 2020, dated September 3, 2020.

Prior to leading LPS, he held various key positions in government, including: Deputy for Maritime Sovereignty and Energy Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (May 2018 – September 2020); Special Advisor for Economic Affairs to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs (July 2016 – May 2018); Special Advisor for Economic Affairs to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (November 2015 – July 2016); Deputy III for Strategic Issues Management at the Executive Office of the President (April – September 2015); Special Advisor for Economic Affairs to the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (2010 – 2014); and Member of the National Economic Committee (2010 – 2014). He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Debottlenecking Task Force (“Pokja IV”) under the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2016 – present), Member of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2016 – present), and Member of the Indonesia Economic Forum (2015 – present).

Before his public service career, Purbaya began as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger Overseas SA (1989 – 1994). He later held prominent roles in the financial sector, including Senior Economist at Danareksa Research Institute (2000 – 2005), Chief Economist of Danareksa Research Institute (2005 – 2013), President Director of PT Danareksa Securities (2006 – 2008), and Member of the Board of Directors of PT Danareksa (Persero) (2013 – 2015).

On September 8, 2025, Purbaya was inaugurated as Minister of Finance in President Prabowo Subianto’s Kabinet Merah Putih.

Lee White, FCA became IFAC's Chief Executive Officer in March 2024. Lee is a professional accountant and a member of ACCA and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

During his career, he has worked as an assurance practitioner in both the private (PWC) and public sectors (Auditor-General of NSW), a securities and audit inspector regulator, leader of a professional accounting body, and as a leader of an international public interest organization supporting both global financial reporting and sustainability standards.

He served the IFRS Foundation from 2018 to 2024, as the Managing Director and during his tenure there was the transformational creation of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) within the IFRS Foundation, and the launch of the ISSB’s first two sustainability standards in June 2023.

Before joining the IFRS Foundation, Lee spent nine years leading Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or its predecessor body, including six years as its inaugural Chief Executive Officer (2012-2017). CAANZ was created from the unique combination of chartered accounting institutes in Australia and New Zealand which Lee fulfilled a pivotal role in securing successful member votes (super majorities) in both countries. He also worked as the Chief Accountant at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission for six years, during which time he represented Australia at the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and was directly involved in the creation and initial years of operation of the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR).

Perry Warjiyo was born in Sukoharjo in 1959. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta, in 1982, before pursuing further studies at Iowa State University, where he obtained his Master’s degree in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Economics in 1991.

He currently serves as Governor of Bank Indonesia for the 2023–2028 term, following his first appointment as Governor from 2018 to 2023. Previously, he served as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (2013–2018), Assistant Governor for monetary, macroprudential, and international policies (2009–2013), and Executive Director of the Department of Economic Research and Monetary Policy at Bank Indonesia.

Between 2007 and 2009, Perry held the position of Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), representing 13 member countries of the South-East Asia Voting Group. His distinguished career at Bank Indonesia began in 1984, with extensive contributions in economic research, monetary policy, international affairs, organizational transformation, central banking education and research, foreign exchange management, external debt management, and the Office of the Governor.

Under his leadership, Bank Indonesia has received numerous accolades, including The Best Central Bank of the Year from the Global Islamic Finance Awards (2018, 2022), Best Asset Owner in Southeast Asia from Asian Investor (2022), Best Macroeconomic Regulator in Asia Pacific from The Asian Banker (2020), and The Best Systemic and Prudential Regulator in Asia Pacific from The Asian Banker (2021), among many others. Perry himself has been recognized with prestigious honors such as Governor of the Year Asia-Pacific by Global Markets (2019), the Hamengku Buwono IX Award from UGM (2022), and several awards for being the most prominent leader in Indonesian media.

Beyond his role as a policymaker, Perry is also an avid scholar and author. His published works include Central Bank Policy Mix: Issues, Challenges, and Policy Responses (2020), Kebijakan Bank Sentral: Teori dan Praktik (2016), and Kebijakan Moneter di Indonesia (2003), along with various academic papers, journals, and essays on economics, monetary policy, and international issues.

He was officially reappointed as Governor of Bank Indonesia through Presidential Decree No. 38/P of 2023, taking his oath of office on May 24, 2023.
