Jean Bouquot became IFAC President in November 2024. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bouquot joined the IFAC Board in November 2020, nominated by Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC) and Conseil Supérieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables (now Conseil National de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables). He also served as IFAC Deputy President from November 2022 to November 2024.

Mr. Bouquot was the president of CNCC from February 2017 to October 2020. From December 2012 to December 2014, he was vice-chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles (regional statutory auditors professional body) and member of the CNCC. From 2014 until 2016, he was chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles and in February 2015, he was appointed Board Member of the CNCC.

Partner at EY until October 2020, Mr. Bouquot was an audit partner since 1992 and has 40 years of experience, at Arthur Andersen from 1980 to 2002 and then EY. He was also in charge of assurance service line for France/Luxembourg/Maghreb from 2008 to 2015.

Mr. Bouquot attended HEC business school and Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris. He is an expert-comptable and commissaire aux comptes. He also served as a reserve colonel in the French Air Force from 2008 to 2020, including attending the Auditor 59 session at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale.

Purbaya earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), followed by a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University, Indiana, United States. He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) through Presidential Decree No. 58/M of 2020, dated September 3, 2020.

Prior to leading LPS, he held various key positions in government, including: Deputy for Maritime Sovereignty and Energy Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (May 2018 – September 2020); Special Advisor for Economic Affairs to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs (July 2016 – May 2018); Special Advisor for Economic Affairs to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (November 2015 – July 2016); Deputy III for Strategic Issues Management at the Executive Office of the President (April – September 2015); Special Advisor for Economic Affairs to the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (2010 – 2014); and Member of the National Economic Committee (2010 – 2014). He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Debottlenecking Task Force (“Pokja IV”) under the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2016 – present), Member of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2016 – present), and Member of the Indonesia Economic Forum (2015 – present).

Before his public service career, Purbaya began as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger Overseas SA (1989 – 1994). He later held prominent roles in the financial sector, including Senior Economist at Danareksa Research Institute (2000 – 2005), Chief Economist of Danareksa Research Institute (2005 – 2013), President Director of PT Danareksa Securities (2006 – 2008), and Member of the Board of Directors of PT Danareksa (Persero) (2013 – 2015).

On September 8, 2025, Purbaya was inaugurated as Minister of Finance in President Prabowo Subianto’s Kabinet Merah Putih.

Mahendra Siregar took the oath of office and was inaugurated as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) at the Supreme Court on July 20, 2022.

He served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs from October 25, 2019, to July 19, 2022. Previously, he held several key positions, including Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States (2019), Chairman of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) (2013–2014), Vice Minister of Finance (2011–2013), and Vice Minister of Trade (2009–2011). In addition to his service in government institutions, Mahendra has also held various commissioner positions in corporations and international organizations.

He earned his Master of Economics degree from Monash University, Melbourne in 1991, and his Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Indonesia in 1986.

Perry Warjiyo was born in Sukoharjo in 1959. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta, in 1982, before pursuing further studies at Iowa State University, where he obtained his Master’s degree in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Economics in 1991.

He currently serves as Governor of Bank Indonesia for the 2023–2028 term, following his first appointment as Governor from 2018 to 2023. Previously, he served as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (2013–2018), Assistant Governor for monetary, macroprudential, and international policies (2009–2013), and Executive Director of the Department of Economic Research and Monetary Policy at Bank Indonesia.

Between 2007 and 2009, Perry held the position of Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), representing 13 member countries of the South-East Asia Voting Group. His distinguished career at Bank Indonesia began in 1984, with extensive contributions in economic research, monetary policy, international affairs, organizational transformation, central banking education and research, foreign exchange management, external debt management, and the Office of the Governor.

Under his leadership, Bank Indonesia has received numerous accolades, including The Best Central Bank of the Year from the Global Islamic Finance Awards (2018, 2022), Best Asset Owner in Southeast Asia from Asian Investor (2022), Best Macroeconomic Regulator in Asia Pacific from The Asian Banker (2020), and The Best Systemic and Prudential Regulator in Asia Pacific from The Asian Banker (2021), among many others. Perry himself has been recognized with prestigious honors such as Governor of the Year Asia-Pacific by Global Markets (2019), the Hamengku Buwono IX Award from UGM (2022), and several awards for being the most prominent leader in Indonesian media.

Beyond his role as a policymaker, Perry is also an avid scholar and author. His published works include Central Bank Policy Mix: Issues, Challenges, and Policy Responses (2020), Kebijakan Bank Sentral: Teori dan Praktik (2016), and Kebijakan Moneter di Indonesia (2003), along with various academic papers, journals, and essays on economics, monetary policy, and international issues.

He was officially reappointed as Governor of Bank Indonesia through Presidential Decree No. 38/P of 2023, taking his oath of office on May 24, 2023.

Dr. Ardan Adiperdana currently serves as Chairman of the National Council of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) for the 2022–2026 term, following his election at the 14th IAI Congress in 2022. He previously held key government positions, including Special Advisor to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (2021–2024), Special Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy for Accountability (2020–2021), and Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) from March 2015 to June 2019.

Within IAI, Dr. Adiperdana has long been an active leader. He served as a Member of the IAI Advisory Council (2018–2022), Member of the National Council for two terms (2010–2018), Chairman of IAI Lampung, and Chairman of IAI Jakarta Chapter.

He built his career at BPKP, where he held a series of senior roles including Head of the Jakarta II Regional Office (2005), Deputy Chairman for State Accountants (2006), and Deputy Chairman for Economic Affairs (2013), before being appointed Head of BPKP (2015–2019). Beyond his public sector service, he has also served as Commissioner in several state-owned enterprises, including President Commissioner of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), Commissioner of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), Commissioner of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (2016–2021), Commissioner of PT PLN (Persero) (2021–2022), and currently Commissioner of PTPN III Holding.

Born in Singkawang on June 16, 1959, Dr. Adiperdana graduated with a Diploma IV from PKN-STAN in 1987 and earned his MBA from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada, in 1992. He later completed his Doctoral degree in Strategic Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia, in 2013. In recognition of his contributions to the accounting profession, he was awarded the Akuntan Award in 2019.

Lee White, FCA became IFAC's Chief Executive Officer in March 2024. Lee is a professional accountant and a member of ACCA and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

During his career, he has worked as an assurance practitioner in both the private (PWC) and public sectors (Auditor-General of NSW), a securities and audit inspector regulator, leader of a professional accounting body, and as a leader of an international public interest organization supporting both global financial reporting and sustainability standards.

He served the IFRS Foundation from 2018 to 2024, as the Managing Director and during his tenure there was the transformational creation of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) within the IFRS Foundation, and the launch of the ISSB’s first two sustainability standards in June 2023.

Before joining the IFRS Foundation, Lee spent nine years leading Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or its predecessor body, including six years as its inaugural Chief Executive Officer (2012-2017). CAANZ was created from the unique combination of chartered accounting institutes in Australia and New Zealand which Lee fulfilled a pivotal role in securing successful member votes (super majorities) in both countries. He also worked as the Chief Accountant at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission for six years, during which time he represented Australia at the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and was directly involved in the creation and initial years of operation of the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR).

Nawal Nely previously served as the Deputy for Finance and Risk Management at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (2020–2024). She was appointed Commissioner of PT PLN (Persero) on 19 March 2024 and has also served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) for the 2022–2024 term, a member of the IAI Task Force on Comprehensive Corporate Reporting (TF CCR), as well as Commissioner of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk.

Before her government tenure, she spent 18 years at Ernst & Young (EY), holding the position of Partner at EY Indonesia from 2010 to 2020. Between 2002 and 2010, she served in several strategic roles at EY Kuwait, Qatar, and Egypt, and was also Manager at the National Bank of Kuwait from 2005 to 2006.

Born in Pekalongan in 1973, Nawal Nely earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Economics, Gadjah Mada University, in 1996. She completed her Global Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, in 2019. She holds multiple professional designations, including Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and has received a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School Executive Education.

Ignasius Jonan served as Indonesia’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (2016–2019) and Minister of Transportation (2014–2016). He gained wide public recognition for his remarkable achievements as President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (2009 to 2014).

He currently serves as Chairman of PT Marsh Indonesia, Independent Commissioner of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (since July 2020), President/Independent Commissioner of PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk (since 2021), and Senior Advisor to Accenture Indonesia. Previously, Jonan was Managing Director of Citibank Indonesia (1999–2001) and President Director of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero) (2001–2006).

He has been actively involved with the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI), serving as a member of the IAI Advisory Board for the 2014–2018 and 2018–2022 terms, as well as a member of the IAI Ethics Committee for 2013–2014.He received the Akuntan Award in both 2013 and 2019. Born in Singapore on 21 June 1963, Jonan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universitas Airlangga and later completed a Master’s degree at Tufts University in the United States. In 2021, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Accountancy from Universitas Airlangga.

Claire joined the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) in 2022, focusing on assurance on sustainability and other environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting.

Prior to joining the IAASB, Claire led Audit and Assurance Policy at CPA Australia, where she was responsible for monitoring, influencing, and contributing to public policy, regulation, standard-setting, and the implementation of audit and assurance practices both in Australia and internationally. Earlier in her career, Claire served as a Senior Project Manager at the Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB), specializing in the development of assurance standards and guidance on non-financial information, and advising the government on the development and regulation of assurance over emissions, energy, and abatement schemes.

She has also worked as an auditor and forensic accountant in firms, regulatory bodies, and consultancies in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Claire is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and CPA Australia.

Sophia Wattimena earned her Bachelor degree in Accounting from Universitas Gajah Mada, before continued her degree at Leiden University, Netherland and Kuehne Logistics University, Germany to obtain Master of Business Administration (MBA). In addition, she has been qualified as Chartered Accountant (CA) which acknowledged by Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI).

Sophia began her career as external auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) and until she served as Senior Manager EY Transaction Advisory Services, likewise she was appointed as Internal Audit Manager at PT Semen Cibinong, Tbk. During her career, she had served as the Head of Finance Resource Management Unit UNDP. Afterward, Sophia was trusted as the Vice President of Advisory & Investment at PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance, one of the subsidiaries of PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur and many multilateral institutions. Sophia once joined PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama as Director of Operation & Finance. He then pursued a career at PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) or Inalum as Executive Director of Finance for one year. Then, from April to October 2021, he served as the Managing Director.

Sophia once joined PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero), as Director of Finance & Operation at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama and Director of Finance & Human Resources at PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal, Tbk. She further pursued her career at PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) as Executive Director of Finance and hereinafter she was trusted as the Managing Director.

Darwin Cyril Noerhadi is a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) – Independent Member, and one of Indonesia’s prominent investors. He is also the Founder of Creador Indonesia, a financial firm actively engaged in various investment transactions across Southeast and South Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Vietnam.

He has held several executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Group Chief Financial Officer of Medco Energi Internasional Tbk, and Partner in Corporate Finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia. In addition, he currently serves as Commissioner of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk and Independent Commissioner of PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk, and previously served as President Commissioner (Independent) of PT Mandiri Sekuritas.

Noerhadi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Geology from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Houston, and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Indonesia.

Rosita Uli Sinaga is the Managing Partner for the Consulting Practice at RSM Indonesia and serves as a Member of the National Council of IAI and Chair of the Sustainability Standards Oversight Board (DPSK) of IAI. Previously, she was a Partner at Deloitte Southeast Asia (Indonesia), where she served as Assurance Advisory Services Leader, Financial Services Industry Leader, and SOE Business Development Leader in Indonesia.

Rosita is both a practitioner and an academic who has actively contributed to the development of the accounting profession in Indonesia for more than 15 years. Under her leadership as Chairperson of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (DSAK) of IAI from 2009 to 2015, Indonesia successfully achieved IFRS convergence, resulting in the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) being only one year gap behind IFRS by 2015. Since then, she has consistently advanced the development of Indonesia’s comprehensive accounting standard framework, now comprising General SAK, EMKM, ETAP, and Private SAK.

Rosita earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Indonesia in 1992 and her Master’s degree from Bina Nusantara University in 2007.

Luky Alfirman began his career at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia on March 1, 1995, within the Directorate General of Taxes. Over the years, he has held various strategic positions, including Head of the Subdirectorate of Tax Potential, Head of the Organization and Governance Division, Head of the Macroeconomic Policy Center, and Head of the Fiscal Policy Center for Revenue and Expenditure. In 2015, he was appointed as the Head of the Center for Policy Analysis and Harmonization at the Secretariat General, and later became Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance for State Revenue Policy. He then served as Director General of Budget Financing and Risk Management from 2017 to 2022, before being appointed Director General of Budget on May 23, 2025, responsible for formulating and implementing Indonesia’s fiscal and budgeting policies. For his dedicated service, he received the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX Years and Satyalancana Wira Karya medals from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1994, followed by a Master of Arts in Economics (2000) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics (2004) from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA.

Rosita earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Indonesia in 1992 and her Master’s degree from Bina Nusantara University in 2007.
