In line with the national agenda to realize Indonesia Emas 2045, a strategic message is expected to underscore the government’s unwavering commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. Anchored in Asta Cita—the eight-priority pillars of national progress—this commitment is reflected in key initiatives such as downstream industrialization, food and energy security, digital transformation, education reform, and the transition to a green economy. These efforts aim to strengthen Indonesia’s economic resilience, enhance social equity, and ensure longterm competitiveness amid global uncertainties, including geopolitical tensions, climate risks, and technological disruption. Within this broader vision, particular attention is also given to the important role of a strong and ethical accounting profession in reinforcing institutional integrity, upholding public trust, and supporting transparency and accountability across sectors. The message reaffirms that trustbased governance and responsible leadership are essential to navigating turbulence and building a just, prosperous, and competitive future for all Indonesians.

Opening Ceremony

The seminar is expected to begin with a formal opening led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia* and the President of IAI, accompanied by the Chair of the IAI Advisory Board and the Chair of the IAI Supervisory Board. This ceremonial session will include a symbolic launch, a commemorative video highlighting IAI’s 68 year journey, and opening remarks underscoring the role of the accounting profession in national transformation. It marks the formal start of the international seminar, blending institutional pride with a clear vision for the profession’s future trajectory.
