Global Baseline for Business and Investors: B20 – IAI – IFAC – ISSB Outreach

The Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants or Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI) is the recognized Professional Accountancy Organization for professional accountants in Indonesia. IAI is one of the founding members and an active member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). IFAC is a global organisation for the accountancy profession, comprising of 180 member and associate organisations in 135 countries and jurisdictions, representing more than 3 million professional accountants.
IAI maintains our commitment to lead in the ongoing adoption and implementation of the International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS) in Indonesia. In 2021, IFRS Foundation established the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) with the primary objective to develop a comprehensive global baseline of high-quality sustainability disclosure standards. Recently, ISSB has published the exposure draft on IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standard and looking forward to obtain input from key stakeholders including business community.
As member of Task Force Integrity and Compliance B20, IAI in collaboration with the B20, IFAC, and the ISSB is organizing a webinar on Global Baseline for Business and Investors: B20 – IAI – IFAC – ISSB Outreach. We are honoured to have the B20 full support to recognize this important discussion as part of the B20 Side Event. The discussion will provide the opportunity for the business community and stakeholders to engage with ISSB and its upcoming standard. To encourage business community and other stakeholders to provide inputs on the exposure drafts IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standard.
