The World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) only happens once every four years and in 2018 the global accounting profession is coming to Sydney.
WCOA 2018 is the global accounting conference that will bring the profession together to network, brainstorm and build a road map for the next four years. Connect with 6.000 professionals from 130 countries, and hear from world class speakers discussing the most compelling topics of our time. The 4-day WCOA conference agenda will cover important themes in the profession: digital disruption, automation, sustainability and ethics, as well as technical topics like global tax, compliance and regulation changes.
This year’s theme is Global Challenges | Global Leaders, and the speaker line-up includes global thinkers and changemakers, Ibu Sri Mulyani Indrawati (Minister of Finance of Republic of Indonesia), Kon Yin Tong (AFA President), Michael Izza (CAW President), Niall Ferguson (Professor of History at Harvard), Ban Ki Moon (past Secretary-General of the United Nations), Bill English (Former NZ Prime Minister) Rachel Botsman and Michael Woodford MBE (Trust Economy Expert) who will help shape your view on the future of our profession and how accountants should to be prepared.
