IAI is looking for an experienced individual to fill a full-time position, responsible for various development projects, assignments and activities. This may include a multi-country project, aims to develop the accountancy profession in target countries, involving participation from and engagement with different stakeholders (local, regional and international). Effective management and communication skills are essential, supported with a strong work ethic, ability to adapt to different circumstances and respond to various challenges.
The successful candidate needs to have commanding leadership qualities, to lead, work and coordinate with other departments within IAI and different stakeholders involved in the projects. He/she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assigned projects (including administrative), ensuring all aspects of each project are conducted according to the established term of references, delivered on time, within budget, and produce the desired results. Strong understanding of the accountancy profession is critical. He/she needs to possess a strong and proven project management experience and effective report writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

IAI was established in Jakarta on December 23, 1957. IAI is the main professional accountancy body in Indonesia. IAI is a full member of IFAC and founder of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA). As a self-funded professional accountancy organization, IAI is responsible for setting up code of ethics, accounting standards, conducting exams, and running programs for professional education. IAI organize Chartered Accountants thorough conducting examination, professional education, and code of ethics. The IAI members originate from all accounting backgrounds, including auditor, management accountants, academics, tax accountants, and public sector accountants.
