Pada 26 Juli 2017 DSAK IAI telah mengesahkan PSAK 71: Instrumen Keuangan (adopsi dari IFRS 9 Financial Instruments) yang akan menggantikan PSAK 55: Instrumen Keuangan: Pengakuan dan Pengukuran. PSAK 71 ini akan berlaku efektif pada tanggal 1 Januari 2020.
